All shows are rain or shine. In the event of dangerous weather, the staff at the Sunset Concert Series has over 50 years of combined years of managing festivals and special events, and uses this knowledge with the most up to date weather technology and information. If we cancel an event, all authorities and social media will be notified with directions on what to do.
From Telluride: Gondola: Take the Free Gondola at South Oak Street (12 minutes) up and over the hill to Mountain Village. Walk to Conference Center Plaza. Driving. Head three miles outside of town, turn left at the circle and head up Lawson Hill. Turn left into Mountain Village and follow into the Mountain Village Center and park in the municipal lot ($) under the Hotel Madeline. If that lot is full, park in the garage near the Market and take the 1-minute gondola over to the Center of Mountain Village.
From elsewhere: Drive to the Mountain Village entrance on Highway 145 and follow directions above.
Is the Series Pet Friendly: Yes.
Are kids welcome? Yes, these are all ages shows and fun for the whole family!
Do: Lay out blankets, tarps and chairs prior to the show.
Do: Park under the Hotel Madeline or at the Parking. Garage near the market and take the quick gondola ride.
Do: Bring your sunglasses.
Do: Keep you dog on a leash.
Do: Email the producer on what bands you would like to see in the future.
Don't: Bring your own alcohol.
Don't: Walk on the stage.
Don't: Leave early. The gondola line moves fast and get food and drinks after the show
Don't: Walk your adult beverage past the common consumption barrier.
